Meet the creator of Vonaé, Nia Surles. Nia is a natural hair specialist from North Carolina who is mostly known for her protective styling and hair treatments to promote healthy growth. She began making her own products in 2015, after she noticed the difference in her hair after using only raw products. She used these products with her services and soon her treatments became highly requested from her clients in San Diego, California. It was not until after the birth of her daughter, Kaylaní Amiyah Vonaé, who the company is named after, that she began to mass produce the products for retail in 2020.

"I’ve used many store brand hair oils, but this combination is light, refreshing, absorbs quickly. My hair and scalp feels balanced and healthy. I’m starting my loc journey, so I’m excited to use this product and alternate with the new spicy oil elixir!"

"This whipped mango butter is light, but still very substantial! A little goes a long way. Very easy to apply, extremely moisturizing, long lasting and luscious. I'm on day 3 and I don't have to wash or reapply any product since my wash day. My hair is usually rather dry, so I used the LOC method when I got the mango butter. I'm glad I bought 2 jars, but I don't anticipate going through it as quickly as I initially expected to. Also the scent is light and pleasant, It's refreshing to not have a product with seems to focus more on fragrance than function."
